The shocker of the day and one of the most anticipated commitments in Louisiana for the Class of 2022 was that of Danny Lewis. The 6’6″ 250 Westgate High School senior remained under the radar for most of his high school career however his performance during the 4A State Championship Game in the Superdome could not hide him anymore.

Lewis’ recruiting journey went into an overdrive mode after the championship game and he found himself visiting the top programs in the country.

On Wednesday, Danny made one of the most important decisions in his life when he chose to sign with the University of Alabama via his Instagram account.
