Opelousas and Cecilia met in a rematch from earlier in the season. Cecilia took the earlier season win by a score of 25-22; however, the Tigers of Opelousas had something to say about it.
The Tigers would avenge that earlier season loss in the State Championship Game, taking the win and the State Championship back to Opelousas by a score of 26-13.
