Week 3 – Friday Night Lights – Zachary Broncos host the St. Augustine Knights

It was a battle of the Defense, Friday night at the Bronco Corral.

Key defensive plays on both sides held the game to a 7 all tie in the first half.

In the second half, Zachary continued to find ways to move the ball, while the defense continued to make plays to turn away the Knights in the redzone.

In the end, the Zachary Broncs rose to the occasion and a key play on offense put them in the drivers seat for the win.

Check Out Some Highlights From Friday Night’s Game:

Player Of The Game:

Zachary’s SS/OLB Stetson Bell – Bell was all over the field for the Bronco Defense.  He accounted for several tackles for no gain and one of the biggest hits of the night on a quarterback sack to jar the ball loos from quarterback Dawson Simmons.  The Broncos would recovered.
