BREAKING NEWS!!! Hottest Prospects In Louisiana C/O 2024 – Louisiana Denham Spring’s Safety DaShawn McBryde commits to The Tigers of LSU

UPDATE (4/22/2023)

LSU’s C/O 2024 recruiting class just got faster and stronger as four-star DaShawn McBryde, Denham Springs Yellow Jackets, made his commitment announcement Saturday after the Spring Game.  McBryde is the 13th commitment for Brian Kelly’s Tigers.

McByrde had 46 tackles, four for loss, nine interceptions, four forced fumbles and broke up nine passes. He accounted for a pair of scores on defense. He earned All State honors he junior year and tied the most interceptions in a season for the Yellow Jackets during the 2022 season.  He can play several positions in the secondary and will be a great addition to the Tigers for the Class of 2024.

McBryde has certainly seen his recruiting pick up since the end of his junior season.

The long lean (6’3″ 195), very naturally fluid and athletic safety just has a nose for the football in the secondary.  He moves in the secondary very smoothly and lures quarterbacks to throw his way.

Throw is way and watch him pick you off and take the ball back for a Pick 6, which is also the jersey number that he wears.

Texas Tech was the first to offer but since, McBryde has caught the eye of many other top programs including SEC schools just as Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee.

Recent Offers: Univ of Louisiana, La Tech, Tennessee (SEC) Other Offers: Ole Miss (SEC), FAU, Baylor, Houston, Vanderbilt – SEC, UIW, Tulane, Texas Tech
