The Knights and The Broncos – Like A Video Game…..

Zachary’s senior running back just exploded in the third quarter against the St. Augustine Knights as he broke through tackles, twisted, and was flying down the field to score three touchdowns for the Broncos to lead his team to a 45 to 35 win. Wisham’s touchdowns came on a 94 yard kick return, a screen pass from Holstein that went for 50 yards and a bulldozing 40 yard run for a touchdown.
Holstein threw three touchdowns in the first half, two to the very talented, senior wide receiver Charles Robertson who took one screen pass and scampered for a 10 yard screen pass (7-7), the second in full stride for a 41 yard catch and run to tie the score up at again at 14 all. The third, came with less than a minute left in the first half on a 58 yard catch and run by Kameran Senegal to bring the score to 21-21.
Kicker Kellen Conachen finished the scoring frenzy with a 31 yard field goal to add to the Broncos lead late in the 4th Qtr to help secure the win.
Zachary turned up the defense in the second half as Cam Hamilton, Ashley Williams Jr., Emauri Sibley, Xavier Robertson, and a squadron of swarming jet fighters in the secondary lead by Carlton “C J” Johnson, who had a big interceptions in the 4th quarter to flip the field and give the Broncos the ball late in the game.
Texas A & M Commit, senior quarterback Eli Holstein commanded the offense with a 10 for 13 231 yards passing with four touchdowns, he rushed for another 15 yards.
