He Is Coming Back Home! Major Moves for Major Burns who committed to the Tigers on Tuesday

Major Burns, 4 Star safety from Baton Rouge, committed and signed with the Georgia Bulldogs as part of their recruiting class for 2020.

He was showing great promise for the Bulldogs during the spring and participated in their spring game; however, home was always on his mind.  Being away from his mother and brother was hard especially after Burns had lost his main mentor, his father, before his senior  year of high school.  Burns attended Madison Prep Academy in Baton Rouge.

Spring of 2021 Major announced he would be entering the transfer portal and looking to make a move, one that would eventually bring him back home to family.

On Tuesday, Major announced he was committed to the LSU Tigers in his home city of Baton Rouge, LA.  He is expected to be eligible immediately for the 2021 football season under the NCAA’s transfer rules.

Welcome Home Major!
