C/O 2021 Spotlight – 2021 DE/LB Caleb Arceneaux Acadiana High School (6’1″ 206)

Caleb Arceneaux starting Linebacker (#6) for the Acadiana Wreckin’ Rams out of Lafayette, La. tallied over 105 Tackles his Junior Year and a 5A State Championship on his way to receive All State Honors, as well as, All District and All Acadiana 1st Team Honors.

Evaluation: fast, physical and explosive at the point of contact, Caleb can play MLB, Safety, or OLB depending on the defensive needs of the team, he is fast and relentless on pursuit during blitz or pressure packages, can go into pass coverage with his skill set and also take the back out of the backfield on pass plays.

When did you start playing football?

I starting player when I was about 8 years old..

What positions have you played? 

Freshman year I played running back and moved to Linebacker my Sophomore year and have been there ever since.  Linebacker fits my style of playing better because I like to be physical and out smart the opposing offense.

What have been your goals for this past season and looking towards the 2020 Season? 

Of course, you always want to work towards a state championship and we did that.  I also want to get at least 100 tackles and be named to an All State Team and I accomplished that as well. Next season, we want to repeat as state champions.

Who would you say are some of your biggest influences?

My uncle Josh Reed because he came from a small city and small school.  He made a name for himself and worked hard to become an NFL Player

What motivates you the most?

My love for football and being able to accomplish the goals I set for myself.  I drive myself to be the best at whatever I put my mind to.

What attributes do you possess that make you a good teammate?

I’m good at getting my teammates ready for the game I am a hard worker and a leader on the field.

How to work with others and trust others
